Women’s Sunday
Sunday February 5 is Women’s Sunday. A fellowship time, hosted by Eleanor Herwig, Elverta Reinemann, and Diane Vanderkin, will follow worship. Please join us after worship as it is a good time to relax and visit with our church family.
Souper Bowl of Caring.
Sunday, February 5 is also the “Souper Bowl of Caring.” In keeping with a past tradition, we are asking everyone to bring a can (or cans) of soup that will be donated to a local food pantry.
Kid’s Club
Kid’s Club, for 2nd – 6th grades, will meet Wednesday, February 8, from 6-7 p.m.
Reader’s Theater
On Sunday, 2-19-12, we will have a Reader’s Theater during worship. Please see Pam Hodgson if you are interested in having a part.
Pizza, Fellowship and Relationships
Who wants to have a better relationship with their spouse or significant other? It doesn't matter your age, if your marriage is wonderful or not so wonderful. Stay after church on Feb. 19th for pizza, fellowship, and learn about Jesus' intent for our relationships. We'll watch the DVD series by Andy Stanley called "Staying In Love. Falling in Love is Easy, Staying in Love Requires a Plan". Invite your friends, family, and neighbors, all are welcome. This DVD will get you thinking and make you laugh in the process. We'll have discussion after the DVD viewing and should wrap up our time together by around 2 PM. There are 4 sessions to this DVD and the other 3 dates right now are March 4th, March 18th and one date still to be determined. If you can't make it to church on any of those dates, still come for this event. Donations will be taken for the pizzas and a sign-up sheet is located on the back table so we know how many pizzas to buy. Contact Gail Gottsacker 920-565-2672.
Search Committee
The next meeting of the Search Committee will be Feb 7, 2010 at church.
Senior Choir
Senior Choir rehearses at 7 p.m. on Thursday nights. Feel free to join them whenever you can.
Mission Project
We continue to collect personal items, paper products, and non-perishable food items for Safe Harbor. Bins, for your donations, are located in back of church.
Small Group Study
Join an Immanuel Small Group Today: "So You Don't Want To Go To Church Anymore" by Wayne Jacobsen and Dave Coleman is the book we will be reading in Small Group starting Jan. 10th in the evening from 7 - 8:30 p.m. and Wednesday mornings from 10 - 11:30 a.m. Meetings will be held at the parsonage. A quote from the back of the book says "This is an exceptional story that will make you laugh, cry, and be in awe of the love the Father has for all His children! It will challenge you to rethink what church is all about!" I urge anyone that feels the smallest curiosity to what this book is about to join us as we read the book during our meeting together. ETERNITY
ETERNITY will be performing at Ebenezer UCC on Sunday, February 26th, at 2 p.m. Proceeds from the concert will help support their “Laundry Love” program. A poster is displayed a display case in the east entryway.
